Christy Lee Turner

I am a lifelong resident of Gadsden, AL. All my life, my parents have instilled in me a great work-ethic and to give back to our community as much as possible. As long as I can remember, my dad, Mike Turner, owner and founder of Etowah Chemical has worked hard to build a family business that is respected and goes out of the way to make customers happy and satisfied with the products they buy from Etowah Chemical. He has built a family business based on hard work, trust, honesty and dedication.

I now work at J. P. King Auction attending real estate auctions and showings. Since I was 15 years old, I have worked at Etowah Chemical on and off while being an elementary teacher and Reading Specialist in Gadsden City Schools for 17 years. With the experiences of teaching kids and dealing with other teaching professionals and parents, I’m very used to being involved with the community and many non-profit organizations. Knowing what it takes to work with people has made me more involved with the community and spending a lot of my time volunteering.

I’m on the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Board Member of Humane Society Pet Rescue and Adoption Center, a member of Kiwanis, Gadsden Public Library Blank Page Society, Etowah Chamber Ambassador, United Way Community Thanksgiving Board Member, Gadsden Runners Club member and attend Coosa Valley Baptist Church. I love to help volunteer for the non-profits I’m involved with and extend the names of Etowah Chemical and J.P. King Auction to as many people and businesses as possible.
