I have lived in Etowah County all my life and am a proud graduate of Etowah High School, Go Big Blue, and a member of First Baptist Church of Attalla for over 47 years. My home in Rainbow City is shared with my babies (of the four legged family) Gigi, Andy and Bandit. Although I do not have children of my own I am the proud aunt of Mike, Chris, Alli, Jackson, Garrett, Sydney, Stone, Cash, Justin, and Ruby Jo. of whom I love as my own. Just ask them they will tell you they are rotten….
My professional career up until 2014 was in the grocery brokerage business…Layman terms…I sold groceries to grocery stores for over 30 years. Four years ago I had the opportunity to go to work for the City of Attalla and have loved the move. I am the Director of Business and Economic Development/Marketing for the City. I love what I do and believe in working as a team as we often have to do in a small town.
My personality is one of serving and helping those when I can. I am honored to be on the committee of Man vs Beast, One Attalla and now the board of the Humane Society Pet Rescue & Adoption Center. I look forward to being a part of such a wonderful cause.
